Ultimate Ability Guide

With Marvel Rivals Season 1.5 ending soon, many players are commenting on fixes and changes needed in Quick play and Ranked for the community—particularly how fast ultimates charge up.

Author's Note: Reddit gameplay of Mister Fantastic where his Q-ability, his Ultimate, is ready to be used.

Ultimates are special abilities respective to each character (besides Loki's literally copying someone else's ultimate) which range from Tanks to DPS to Strategists that heal the team like Mantis' or deals greater damage like Hela.

How this ability works is that per 1 point of damage or healing you do, even self-healing, that point goes toward your Ultimate. For every character in the game, there is a quota to meet such as needing to hit 3500 points before you use your ultimate.

For strategists, these points will mainly be from healing and self-healing, and for DPS, this will be most prominently from doing damage to the enemy team.

Depending on how aggressive you're playing in the game, getting your ultimate may be quick—or even slow.

Recent online discussion have come out with strategists (or healers) gaining their ultimates too quickly and needing a nerf. Meaning, strategists will have a higher quota to meet, but the developers of Marvel Rivals have gone ahead and done exactly this for Cloak and Dagger, and Luna Snow as mentioned in my Ranked Journey series.

Exploring this, I have collected a quick guide of all the points needed for each character's Ultimate, as well as details of what their Ultimate does (as seen in "Cost").
